Sustained by the city of Orange Beach and the Gulf Coast community, the Coastal Arts Center's mission is to provide a venue for inspiration, education, promotion and enjoyment of the arts for the residents and visitors to the Gulf Coast.
The gallery is housed in the first hotel built in Orange Beach (1923) and features the work of local and regional artists who rotate their work quarterly. Special exhibits such as Craft in Alabama and Emerging Artists Exhibit as well as visiting artists rotate through the two large bayside galleries every two months.
Coastal Arts Center is home to the state's only public access glass blowing studio, The Hot Shop, where you can sign up to make your own glass as a momentio of your visit to the Gulf Coast, watch live glass blowing, or take glass blowing classes from a professional glass artist.
